Smart Watches are computerized wristwatches with functionality enhanced beyond timekeeping, often with features comparable to a PDA. Galaxy Gear serves as a companion for all Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets which run Android 4.3; on launch, this included the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition. Originally released as an Android-based device, Samsung replaced the operating system with Tizen through a May 2014 software update.

(11) Samsung Galaxy Gear 2

After launching its first smart watch back in September, Samsung's line of wearables is about to get a lot bigger.While maintaining similarities to the original Galaxy Gear, the Gear 2 line runs the Samsung-developed Tizen operating system instead of Android, while providing improved functionality and a refreshed hardware design.

The Gear 2 retains a similar hardware design to the original Galaxy Gear, although a Home button has been added below the screen.

(12) Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 Neo: 

There is a slight difference in Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, the latter one lacks the camera feature. However, both of these Gears have 1.63-inch Super AMOLED display with resolution of 320×320 pixels and 1.0GHz dual core processor. There is a support of video as high as 720p and microphone inputs with the capacity of easy-to-transfer music from the phone to use it later independently. Moreover, unlike Samsung Galaxy Gear, it uses Tizen – an OS from Samsung. It means they don’t run Android OS anymore. And there is an improvement in sensors range too, and this time Gear 2 has come with heart rate sensor as well as pedometers and sleep monitors.
